I have the beet queen if you want to borrow it. i also wrote a paper on it, if you want to read that- though it was probably the worst paper i've written in college. :) (this is mili on tracy's computer)
I read Are Women Human once at Powells, and had my picture taken for the New York Times travel section. I don't know if the picture made it in, but I wondered if Dorothy Sayers would have written the same thing again, after she'd seen the 1960's and 1970's, and the damage the women's rights movement has done to families and children.
how's Georgia?
hey, add bookseller of kabul and we'll read it together, k?
Bookseller of Kabul is by Asne Seierstad, an Norwegian author. Oh and yeah, when I see that first book title and author on your list I think of Cormack McLaggen. Sad. haha.
I´m requesting photos from last thursday...
