Well, if it makes you feel any better, I picked up my cap and gown today. And I'm eating oven-roasted beets with rosemary, olive oil, and feta. And I'm going to a Mark Helprin lecture and book signing tonight. And my sister is coming on Friday!

beets are the bane of all culinary artistry and taste. they are hateful things. i'm sorry you evidently eat them and...*shudder* enjoy them.
have you ever tried oven-roasted french cut green beans or roasted potatos with rosemary, pepper, salt, olive oil and feta?

It makes me happy that I'll get to see you soon. Mayhap, if something good is playing (currently Hello Dolly, I believe) and your friends are so inclined, we could fit in a trip to Lamb's Players Theater. :D Amanda would probably be interested.
Yay! I'll mention it to Amanda if I see her tonight (I've been going with her to a Saturday night service)...s'quite all right with you if she is able to come, yes?
