and, umm...the best activity is "waiting for Daws to do something she promised to do even though knowing she'll never get around to it." um, yes. and/or "not finding anything good in Daws's new work because of steep steep prejudice towards the old one."

correction: texas was last year's best new state.

it couldn't have been in the running for THIS year's best new state because it wasn't new. and i didn't go there in 2004. [isn't that sad! i didn't go to texas at all last year...i'll try to change that for 2005.]
